Jira Dashboard Gadgets

Jira Dashboard Gadgets bring BesTest's testing data into the dashboards your team already opens every day. Instead of sending managers and stakeholders to a separate testing screen, BesTest gadgets sit next to your existing Jira gadgets - sprint burndowns, filter results, activity streams.

Add a gadget the usual Jira way (edit the dashboard, add the BesTest gadget), pick a gadget type, then set its scope and display options. Execution gadgets can be scoped to a project or to specific cycles and campaigns, and show the status overview, trend over a date range, a scorecard grouped by cycle or tester, a pass-rate gauge or bar charts, with an option to count only the latest execution of each test. Progress gadgets show active cycles and burndown or burnup charts. Quality gadgets summarize linked defects, defect trends and the tests that fail most often.

Coverage gadgets use the same value as the requirement itself - Covered, Partly covered or Not covered - so the dashboard never disagrees with the app. The Requirement Coverage Matrix crosses significance with coverage, so a Critical requirement that is only Partly covered stands out immediately; a heatmap, a treemap by folder, a breakdown and a test inventory health gadget complete the picture.

A typical setup: a UAT or release dashboard with execution status, a pass-rate gauge, the coverage matrix and the defect summary for the release cycles; a QA lead's board with the scorecard by tester and top failing tests; and My Assigned Work on every tester's personal dashboard. The gadgets update as testers record results, so the dashboard is the report.
